Resources at your Fingertips!

As we begin another school year at Cuesta College and approach the start of the Cal Poly school year, I thought it would be helpful if I reminded our residents of the many resources and useful information about preventing crime and being a good neighbor available on-line from our local websites.  Here are a few:

This is a new website developed by SLO Police and marketed toward students, but very useful to all residents.  The website contains great information about living off campus, how to be a good neighbor, noise regulations and more.

SLO Solutions is a free conflict resolution and mediation service available to SLO City residents who may be in conflict with their neighbors, roommates, or landlords.

Our Police Department website contains all kinds of crime prevention and program information that residents and businesses find very useful.

This site contains valuable information about safety on campus and links to bus schedules and other Cal Poly information.

The Cal Poly Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities administers the disciplinary process for Cal Poly students when they are alleged to have violated the CSU Standards for Student Conduct.  The website provides great information about the process and what constitutes a violation.

Check these out - I hope you find the information useful.  And remember…

Remember, be smart, be prepared, and be safe!
