Keep valuables safe by locking your car!

One of the easiest ways to protect yourself against theft is to LOCK YOUR CAR when you leave it unattended, even for a short period of time. Thieves are opportunist, and thefts of purses and other valuables from unlocked vehicles are an easy target! Motor vehicle thefts are also occur more often when vehicles are left unlocked or with keys in the driver’s compartment in plain sight. Lock your car when you are at the Post Office, during the quick trip to the ATM or just stopping for a bite to eat. It is also a good idea to lock your car when it is parked in front of your residence….and remember to keep valuables out of sight!

An unlocked vehicle door provides an opportunity for you to become a victim.

Do not become a victim!

Do not provide an opportunity!

LOCK YOUR CAR!
